• Corridor Widening: Upgrading the 7.8 km inner-city access stretch connecting the Raipur and Bilaspur approach roads into a wide, divided 4-lane layout with dedicated medians, proper drainage, and energy-efficient LED street lighting.
• Two Grand Welcome Gateways: Construction of two ornate, monumental entry gates reflecting Chhattisgarh's cultural architectural heritage at the main entry points of Kawardha to welcome visitors and pilgrims arriving from Raipur, Bilaspur, and Madhya Pradesh.
• Decongestion & Safety: Designed to streamline high-volume commercial and passenger traffic, eliminate choke points near major town intersections, and provide smooth access toward the town center, district hospital, and Bhoramdeo tourism corridor.

Alongside the foundation stone-laying ceremony, the event will feature a special live cultural performance headlined by renowned Chhattisgarhi folk vocalist Alka Chandrakar.
